The terms every merchant of the Faire agrees to. Read them before you apply — submitting an application means accepting them in full.
All booths, tables, and carts are to be decorated in a manner representative of the Utah Winter Faire Market vision. The theme is general Renaissance / Medieval / fantasy for a Christmas & winter market.
All vendors and booth help are to be in costume throughout the Faire. This is a family event, and all costumes and wares should be G-rated. Failure to decorate or to be in costume will result in vendors being asked to improve or to forfeit their placement.
If you need advice or information on costuming or decorating, we are happy to help — just ask.
After acceptance of your application, an invoice will be sent to the e-mail address you supplied. No cash payments will be accepted.
Space fees are:
No tables or chairs are included with any space — please bring your own. Electricity is available for some booths, upon request.
A larger space or a high-traffic position may be requested on the application, for a commensurate increase in price. See Spaces for what each includes.
All items offered for sale should be quality goods. Artisan wares are very welcome, as are other goods not produced by the vendor. We do not accept mass-produced, low-quality plastic items such as would be found at a dollar or discount store.
At our discretion, we may ask that items be removed from your inventory if they are not in keeping with the Faire's theme and age policies.
If you have not included a product line in your application, you are not cleared to offer it for sale until you have cleared it with us.
We really, really want to make sure our vendors do well at the event, and having vendors offer a wide and diverse selection of merchandise is important. If we check your booth and find things not on your application, we may ask you to remove them — especially if they duplicate items other merchants have been approved to sell.
All vendors additionally agree to the venue's rules of conduct.
Only pre-packaged foods may be sold at the Faire. Samples may be offered only if the vendor provides an adequate hand-washing station at their booth.
Food vendors are permitted provided they meet all local health department rules, hold all required permits, and comply with all applicable health codes and laws.
Food and beverage offerings must not compete with existing mall tenant outlets. Menus are subject to review.
Upkeep of vendor booths is the responsibility of the vendor. Trash should be placed in the receptacles provided on a nightly basis.
Event insurance is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. We may require proof of insurance from certain types of vendors.
Vendors are solely responsible for any and all damages caused by the operations of their booth to the building, the grounds, the property of other vendors, and/or all third parties, including customers purchasing wares from the booth. The Faire organizers are not responsible for any damages sustained by vendors, in any manner, or any liability arising from a vendor's operations.
The Shops at South Town has roving security and video surveillance. Please note that the Atrium's wing of the mall is near a venue with extended hours, so the area may see foot traffic after the Faire closes each day.
Neither the mall nor the Faire organizers are responsible or liable for any loss, theft, or damage to vendors' goods, displays, equipment, or revenue. Please secure your valuable products, and remove all money and cash boxes at the close of business each day.
Vendors are responsible for all sales tax collection and remission to the Utah State Tax Commission. Temporary Events sales tax forms will be sent from the Utah State Tax Special Events division.
Per our contract with the venue, every vendor must be open and fully operational for all hours of the Faire, December 4–6. Finish setting up before the Faire opens, and do not close or pack up before it closes.
Booths, tables, and carts are to be staffed at all times during the regular hours of the Faire. If you must be away from your booth and it will be unattended, enlist the help of other vendors or Faire volunteers if available. Any losses incurred during your absence are solely your responsibility, regardless.
No animals except service animals are allowed, per the venue's rules.
Vendors and their booth help consent to the use of their name, picture, image of any type, voice, or video recording for the purpose of promotional or commercial usage by the organizers.
We respect privacy requests if noted at the time of application, and will inform vendors of exceptional use beyond advertising intended to promote their business.
No refunds will be given after the final acceptance date of November 4, 2026, except in cases of emergency, at the organizers' discretion.
The organizers are in no manner or form whatsoever responsible for any failure of the event to be open or operable.
Applications open September 20. A first round of acceptances goes out by October 20, and all applications close November 4, 2026.
